Beer garden in Bern?

Have a look at the Altes Tramdepot. Many "typical Swiss" food options at reasonable prices (it's still Switzerland though :) ) and they brew their own beer. In good weather, there is a really nice "beer garden" area with a great view of the old town and river. It's adjacent to the bear park. There are tourists there but lots of locals too. Only drawback is that service can be very slow when it's busy and I would also recommend making reservations (you can do this online) if you plan to go for dinner, especially on weekends.
