I need to do a one-way car rental originating in Frankfurt and dropping off in Basel before departing on a river cruise.
The one-way rental fees are much lower if I drop off in Germany instead of Switzerland, so the likely plan is to drop off at the Avis location in Loerrach and taxi to the dock.
Any issues with taking a taxi from Germany into Switzerland? Other issues with this plan, or better suggestions?
