Hi folks!
We will be renting a car for one just one day of our visit to Switzerland but need to find one convenient to where we arrive in Basel on our Avalon River Cruise. What are the easist car rental places to get to from the River Cruise Docks?

Where are you going? Trains and buses work great. But just google car rental locations Basel, There is really no telling where you will dock. There are several docking locations in Basel, not necessarily close to each other. On arrival, the Port Director tells them where to dock the boat. You can ask the Cruise Director if they can arrange transport for you. Worst case, take a taxi.
