We are staying at the STEINENSCHANZE STADHOTEL near the train station. We are meeting up with various family members all staying in various hotels very near to that and I need to make a reservation for 8 people for dinner. We'd love something no more than a 10 min walk and easy and fun but good food. A kind of bistro meets beer hall with decent food and a relaxed atmosphere (this will be the week of Oct. 19). Suggestions?

I think your hotel would be your best resource. Have you tried contacting them for a suggestion?
If you don’t need anything fancy, the Markthalle might be a good option. It is just a few minutes walk from the train station.
