We have a flight to catch at 6:25 AM at MLH Airport on a week day this July.
We are staying at Motel One Basel.
We are thinking the best way to MLH would be by taxi ???
Are taxis difficult to get at 4 AM ?
Would we have to reserve it the day before ?
Any Idea of costs in CHF ?

Places to try local beers at reasonable prices ?
If you can get to SBB station, the No 50 bus runs to BLS (the code for the Swiss section of Basel Euroairport) starting at 4:10 am. Takes 15 minutes and costs nothing as it is free with your Basel guest card.
A taxi looks to be about 60 CHF. Have the hotel arrange it.
Re beer, Voltabräu has a nice beer garden https://www.voltabraeu.ch/en/. The local Ueli beer also has nice associated locales https://www.uelibier.ch/en/our-brewery-restaurants/
The other big local beer is Feldschlösschen which is from Rheinfelden just outside Basel, but the beer is pretty standard ‘mass market’ and can be purchased almost anywhere. Most microbrew type places are not ‘reasonably priced’ - around 9 or 10 francs a pint.
Definitely not cheap, but most variety is at Bierrevier in the Markthalle near the train station. Lots of good food there too, which is at reasonable prices and makes up for expensive beers.
