Base in Bern-Oberland area for car trip.

Please guide me on where to stay if I were to drive my rental car to tour the Bern Oberland area.
My interests are to visit Kandersteg-Traummelbach Falls-North face trail- Brienzer Rothorn and First Walk etc if possible.
I plan on staying in the area for 3-4 days.
Would Lauterbrunnen be a good option?
Thank you.

With a car, Lauterbrunnen is probably your best option. Did you look into the option of using Switzerland's wonderful train system?

Yes. I will be travelling with 4 people and it is almost impossible to corral everyone on time to do everything. Too stressful. Car might be more doable with less fighting.
Thanks.

Car will be extremely stressful in the Lauterbrunnen valley. Unless you just leave it at your accomodation, and take public transit everywhere. Which you will need to do for most of your planned activities anyway.

But feel free. Yesterday we had our "Gemeindeversammlung", and we heard there that we had surplus last year of almost 4 million. A lot of it is due to people who cannot part with their cars... So come by car. Its your nerves that are being worn out. And less taxes for me :-)
