Hi,
I am travelling as a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) and I have 3 full days (Mon, Tues & Wed) in Switzerland before travelling to France. I arrive around 9.50pm to Zurich airport on Sunday in winter (mid-December) after a 15 hour flight.
I was wondering should i push on straight to Lucerne taking the late night train so i can have 3 full days there (which was my original purpose), or should i spend the night in Zurich, explore Zurich for a day before heading to Lucerne on Monday evening, which only leaves me 2 full days in Lucerne.
I like outdoors and nature very much and reading the forums, etc, it seems that Lucerne has more to offer plus its town centre is more charming too. Any thoughts?
