Does anyone have less than half day excursion from Wengen we can do on arrival day? We will be tired but don't want to waste it.

What time of year will this be? Depending on that, you could take the cable car up to männlichen. Spend some time up there to enjoy the view and either take the cable car back down to Wengen or walk to kleine scheidegg and then take the train back to Wengen.
