I wish to actually stay in the Zurich Airport closest to terminal 2. Are there any hotels actually in the airport that you do not need to take a shuttle??

The closest is the Radisson blu opposite of Terminal 1, followed by the Hyatt hotels at the Circle. Both are in 5 to 10 mins walking distance.

You can walk to the hotels at The Circle without going outside. There is an underground shopping mall with shops and restaurants and a tunnel to the hotels. I recently stayed at the Hyatt Place The Circle and did not use a shuttle.
