Are "Dad Jokes" a thing in Switzerland/Italia?

In my experience of living in Spain, and spending time in Italy and France - jokes do not translate!

@Lin, you are correct they don't translate, but there are also "chistes de padres" that don't translate into English.

First, we should define what we're talking about. How do you know it's a Dad Joke? It's..... apparent.

Note that contrary to the stereotype Swiss (and Germans) can actually be quite funny.

In the German speaking world Dad Jokes are known as Flachwitze. I know plenty of them but well .... :-) Sometimes funny and sometimes not.

In Spain they "chistes de cunado" or brother in law jokes.
