I want to go from Appenzell to Lucerne by train. But, I don’t want to go through Zürich since I will already have done that. Does anyone know what train I should take from Appenzell to get to Lucerne?

You can pick up the hourly Voralpen Express at Herisau, a short train ride from Appenzell.
