We are planning to hike this area and stay in Murren around September 15 this year.
Will we miss the roaring water of Trummelbach or Staubach Falls because it's fall ? Do you need to be here in the summer for these great waterfall hikes ?

Good ! We went to Yosemite to hike last year in June and the falls were roaring. My daughter went at the end of August and they were just dribbling over the cliffs. I was shocked !

Hi Carla, we visited the Berner Oberland in October 2017. We rode the cable car from Murren to Stechelberg then hiked over to the Falls. They were roaring that day! Nice walk, beautiful area.

Thanks ! I have SO much info on the area copied and pasted into my "travel notes" that my head is about to explode ! It's time to dive into all of it and formulate an itinerary !
