An onward ticket is required ?

Hello,

I will travel soon to Switzerland and I wanted to know if they ask an onward ticket at the custom ?

I've found this website Onward flight ticket

and I don't know if anyone has used it already.

Have a nice day !

What is the advertisement ? I am asking if this website is a scam or if you have any feedback about it

It is a scam in that you essentially are paying them to make it appear you have a ticket, without having one, to circumvent immigration requirements. A legitimate traveler from a visa-waiver country has no real need for their services.

You also reported a known participant in this forum on another thread. That person has been around for years and is trusted.

However, we get many first time posters who post a questionable website. Some may be legit but most are not. So, a first time poster with a link that is questionable is reported to the webmaster for him to decide.

As for your question.....customs couldn't care less about your onward ticket. It's immigration/passport control that may ask.(And yes, there is a big difference. If you ask a European about "customs" they will answer about customs and not immigration. ) However, unless you are questionable, they probably won't ask unless you plan to stay a long time.

Webistes like these are used by people who are trying to scam the system.

the original post in "dodgy" in several ways.

On the face of it the site linked is designed for the purpose of evading border control procedures and as such could be a security threat to the country involved.

Or possibly it isn't! Maybe it's just conning gullible people into giving out lots of personal information for criminal purposes, and they won't dare report it to the police because they would be admiting that they were trying to evade border controls.

There are three features in the OP which link elsewhere in the profile of a software designer, so maybe the site is his.

And he reported Dutch_traveler's genuine post in retaliation for being reported himself.

So overall I think this entire thread should be erased!
