First, I know thanks to Chris F. that there is excellent public transport from the airport right to our hotel. It is just that one of our party is 94 and the rest of us in our 70"s, so we are opting for a taxi. Last year I used a private airport service in Rome that was wonderful, and as there were 7 of us it was actually cheaper than public transport.
BaselTaxiAirport sounds similar. You reserve on line, it is one price for the vehicle (less than the going rate for a taxi hailed at the airport, and the assurance that all four of us will be together (not always possible with luck of the draw.) Just wondering if anyone has used this particular service and if so what your experience has been.
Oh, and all of us, including our 94 year old are fine using the trams and buses, just not with luggage after a transatlantic flight.
