Hi
We would like to stop for a night en route from Chamonix to Calais (with a further overnight in Reims). There will be 6 in a car. I was thinking it would be cheapest to book a hotel near Annemasse and get the train in? Does that seem logical?
We will be checking out, parking the car the train station and spending the day in Geneva ideally but the info on car parks at Annemasse train station is so confusing?!? Is it even possible? Is there a better solution?
For info we will leave Chamonix and travel to "somewhere near Geneva" with a stop in lake passy for a few hours on the way. Stay overnight and have the next day in Geneva til about 3 then continue the drive north. In August on a Friday.
Any advice greatly received.
