Adding a bike ticket while using a Swiss Travel Pass

I will be traveling in Switzerland September 2023 using a Swiss Travel Pass. I plan to take several bike trips and I will need to take my bike on the train one or two times. Does the Swiss Travel Pass include a discount for bike tickets (probably point to point tickets)? Any other information about biking in Switzerland would be appreciated.
.Thanks,
Peggy

There is some useful info at link below. On most local trains, it is fairly easy and hassle-free. Most bike issues seem to arise on long-distance trains (even if you are only riding them a short distance) as capacity is lower and some of the trains are not as bike-friendly.. Especially note that Intercity trains require a bicycle reservation as well as a ticket due to space limitations. This is noted on the timetable.
You can search for bike-friendly connections, see which section of the platform is for designated bicycle sections and see any restrictions on the timetables. Depending where you’ll be, try to avoid rush hour near cities and, if necessary, book reservations early as some trains do sell out their bike allowance, especially on weekends.
Also, just fyi, a limited number of trains (mainly on longer routes) do not have level entry so you may need to hoist your bike up and down narrow stairways on certain trains (tilting trains marked TT on schedule for one). If you want to avoid those, you can select barrier-free access in your search.
I’m not an expert on the tourist transport passes, but not aware of a discount.

This sounds like a lot of fun, I love riding my bike here! For the few times that I have taken my bike on the train I purchased a Day Pass for the bike for 14.00 CHF, so they are not expensive. As you say point to point may also be good, depends on the length of your journey.

More info is here:

It could be good to review cycling rules - I found some things to be different from my home in Canada.

There are a lot of great cycling routes here, you can see what is in the area you plan on visiting. Switch to mountain bike routes if that is what you are doing. Get the app to use as you cycle if you wish. I tend to refer to it often when I am exploring a new region.

Enjoy!
