We will be arriving by rail in Wengen about 6 PM on a mid-September Saturday night and are wondering if there is anything we can do in the town after we have checked in at our hotel? We plan to have eaten on the train on the way there, so don't need to dine out. Will anything be open or should we just go to bed early to recover from jet-lag?

Thank you! I'm thinking we may pick up some picnic food at the Coop in Zurich airport before we get on the train.. had read the Coop in Wengen would be closed when we arrive in town. The long scenic ride (going via Lucerne) would be a good chance to eat and then when we get in, we'll probably be about ready to sleep! Wonder if any little shops will be open on Saturday after 6? Also, are shops open on Sundays?
