Hi. My daughter and I are planning a trip to Switzerland in June. We’ll be flying into Zurich, and ideally would like to take advantage of public transportation. Looking for 2-3 home bases during our 8-day stay as we’d prefer to not switch hotels every night. Hoping to enjoy a lot of hiking, and a bit of the Swiss culture. Thanks in advance!

early June or later in the month. Some Alpine trails don't open until mid-month.
Alpine hiking or lowland? Switzerland has some gorgeous non-Alpine scenery and hikes.
