8 day Itinerary from Milan

Hello,
I am hoping some seasoned Switzerland travellers can help me. My wife and I have approximately eight days in Switzerland; we will begin our trip in Milan. We need/would like to visit the following:
-Geneva (to visit a friend)
-the Berner-Oberland area (Murren), perhaps for three days?
-the Glacier Express

We are open to flying home from anywhere in Switzerland.
Could you suggest a do-able itinerary that takes the above into consideration?
Thanks

When is your trip and what are your interests (hiking, nature, cities, museums, nightlife, etc.)?

We love to hike. I want to make the best use of our time and are not sure of the order in which to visit these three places within the time frame. As I mentioned, we are starting from Milan but will fly open-jaw and so can leave from any place that has a nearby international airport.

To answer the other part of your question, we are hoping to travel in late May-early June.

One possible route:

From Milan go to St. Moritz and spend one night.
Take the Glacier Express to Zermatt where you would spend one night.
From Zermatt head to the Berner Oberland for 4 nights, staying in Murren or Wengen.
From the B.O. head to:
- option A: Luzern where you spend the final 2 nights and depart from Zurich airport the next morning.
- option B: Montreux where you spend the final 2 nights and depart from Geneva the next morning.

Both Luzern and Montreux have direct links to the airports listed and take about 70 minutes.

Thanks. That looks like a great route that doesn't look rushed or have us back-tracking.
