At the end of October, I have a 6 hour morning layover in Zurich. Planning on hitting a lounge, take a shower, and drop bag for a morning jaunt. I have read it’s quick and easy to get to the city from the airport. It’s morning so any suggestions as to where to go or what to do ? Thanks
Ps. Coming from the US and heading to Greece. So I guess I will clear immigration upon arrival but not coming back into the airport before leaving for Greece
Considering you need to be back at the airport at least two hours before your flight to Greece and taking into account the time it takes to land, clear immigration, locate the lounge, shower etc you could be looking at over an hour which potentially leaves you with less than three hours including transport to and from the airport.
I'd simply enjoy those six hours in the lounge.
It takes only 12-15 minutes by train to the central station, however, it takes more than that to clear security (you don't need to clear immigration going onward to Greece), and find your gate.
So you can spend time at your longe, it is probably a better option in your case.
