4 nights in Late May or Late June for Lauterbrunnen

Hiking wise, is late May still too cold/snowy? The only reason I don’t want to do late June is because that would require an additional flight from Switzerland to London (my departure city)

If I go in late May, no additional flight is needed. I can take train from Paris and leave for Germany by train also.

There’s no way to know for sure what the weather will be like. I’ll be there early June, and I’m expecting some trails to still be closed due to weather. Also, some cable cars won’t be open yet. The Mannlichen cable car opens May 26th. The Allmendhubel cable car opens June 10th. Also, some of the hotels in Murren and Wengen don’t open until early June.

I've been many times in mid- to late-May and it is a great time to go. The crowds are smaller and spring is in full swing. Upper elevation trails will almost certainly be closed and maybe some mid-level trails. The Almendhubelbahn may be closed for maintenance. But there's more than enough open otherwise.

This has been a poor snow year, so I would be even less concerned than usual! Do what makes logistical sense and go in late May.

That's true about the snowfall. If I didn't know better, I would guess that it's mid-June judging by the snowpacks visible on the webcams.

I have been in Early June and some higher elevation trails were closed-----but loved the fewer crowds.
