3 nights in Switzerland 30 Sept-3 Oct 2017 From Stuttgart (Which city(ies), by rail, car or flight?)

Hello! We are traveling to Stuttgart for an event October 3-8 of this year. In order to maximize our travel to Europe, wed like to add on a few nights and spend them in Switzerland. I am looking for advice on where we should go and how we should plan on getting around. Any comments would be appreciated!

I guess you can be like everybody else and head to the Berner Oberland. You can get to Muerren in just under 6 hours on the train.
There's reason everybody goes there.
