Hello All-
We will be flying into Zurich for a Rhine riverboat cruise giving us 3 days (probably more like 2 full days and a 1/2 day) in Switzerland. I'm leaning towards Lucerne, however like the idea of a more scenic landing spot to explore the mountains, etc. Suggestions? We will be reliant on public transport (and we are in our 60's and NOT looking for a hiking itinerary). TIA!

Lucerne for 2.5 days is amazing. You could do a day trip to Mr. Pilatus - you could do it on your own, or there are many companies to go with - check out TripAdvisor. Lucerne is one of my favorite European towns.
