3 days Days tour plan for Switzerland

Hello Travellers, this is our first upcoming travel to Switzerland end of April 2024 for a 3-day Swiss pass to cover the most scenic places all over Switzerland. We are not sure whether these 3 days are enough or not. Due to our age, we mostly will spend see sites and spend 3 nights in various places, travelling with the highest mountainous trains and riding a Gondola with the SBB pass.  Our trip will start from Zurich Airport to gradually further southwest and after 3 days we love to travel to French Riveria Nice. We need help with how to make the travel plan to fulfill our wishes.
Thank you.

Pick 3 spots, Luzern, Lauterbrunnen (or Wengen or Muerren) then one more spot. Montreux if you want lakeside and vineyards, or Zermatt for more high mountain scenery. From either of these, you can get to Nice in 9 to 9 1/2 hours if you get an early start.

I am wondering about your strategy of a 3-day Swiss Flex Travel Pass. That will get you to these great places, but what will you do when you are there?

I’m confused - your total time in Switzerland is 3 days or you want to go multiple places for 3 days each?

If it’s 3 days total, pick one spot, you won’t have time to move. And getting from Zurich to Nice, France is a 10-12 hour train depending on the route you take and if you go out of the way in Switzerland to stop somewhere nice. That’s quite an undertaking.

I think it is 3 different places for 3 days each and using a 3-day flex pass to go between them. My interpretation anyway.
