We will have 2 extra days while on a 2 week Switzerland trip and trying to decide between going to the east or west? Do we go to the St. Moritz/Pontresina area or to Lausanne and French side? We will have 3-4 days in Berner Oberland, 5 days in Luzern (I know, a bit long but got the rooms free) and 2 days in Zermatt. Any suggestions? We will have the Swiss Pass.

Lausanne and French side. I have done this in summer without a car. Very enjoyable a a lot to see.

Thank you - this is never changing. I do think we want to look into the French side (thinking Montreaux or Lausanne) and now also Lugano for the Italian side. So much to do!! Going in October and thinking of keeping the last week or so “open” and see what the weather is and where we may want to go. Hoping we can still find accommodations!
