Hi Guys,
I need help with deciding a 15day Swiss itinerary. We will be travelling in October to Switzerland from Lake Como and flying back home from Zurich. Can someone suggest the best itinerary for 15 days in Switzerland? We will be having Swiss Travel Pass with us.
I have thought of the following routes:
Option1:
Lugano to Zermatt
Zermatt to the french side(Montreux, Lausanne, Geneva.)
Montreux take the Golden Pass MOB and go to Interlaken/Lauterbrunen/Wengen/Murren.
Then move to Lucerne. Explore Lucerne
Lucerne to Zurich.
Option2:
Lake Como to Lugano
Lugano to Lucerne via GPE. Explore Lucerne.
Lucerne to Interlaken/Lauternrunnen/Murren. Day trip to Bern/Thun.
Interlaken to Montreux/Geneva/Lausanne. Day trip to Annecy.
Montreux to Zermatt.
Zermatt to Zurich.
Option3:
Lake Como to Tirano
Tirano to Chur by Bernina Express.
Chur to Lucerne.
Lucerne to Interlaken/Lauternrunnen/Murren. Day trip to Bern/Thun.
Interlaken to Montreux/Geneva/Lausanne. Day trip to Annecy.
Montreux to Zermatt.
Zermatt to Zurich.
It would be great if someone could please suggest which itinerary sounds good? Or is there any other way to do this? Please note that I have my parents (60+years of age) with us. Do you think this is a rushed planned?
