I am in the early stages of planning a 15 day trip for my husband and me (both 61 yers old - we will not be doing a lot of hiking). Would love suggestions and/or advice on itinerary, lodging, things not to miss, trains and length of stay in each place. Is this too many short stays with too much traveling? We would be traveling Oct 1 - Oct 16, 2024 and will be traveling mainly via trains.
- fly into Milan
- immediately take train to Lugano for 3 nights
- train to Zermatt for 3 nights
- lauterbrunnen (wengen and/or murren) 4 nights
- grindenwald 3 nights
- lucerne 2 nights
- fly out of zurich
