Flying into Geneva and out of Frankfurt. 14 days, want to see the alps, hike, love train travel. Thinking of glacier express. Any help with itinerary, or bases to stay would be great. Thank you!

When is this trip happening? Is there something about Frankfurt that appeals to you?
This summer we spent a week in Italy, followed by 5 nights in Wengen, 4 nights in Colmar, then 3 nights in Bacharach, about an hour from Frankfurt.
If you end up in the Berner Oberland area, check out the Golden Pass route. Really, all train rides in the area are gorgeous. The ride from Lauterbrunnen up to Kleinne Scheidigg then down to Grindelwald is stunning. And all covered by the BO Pass. You don’t have to go far to have excellent scenery.
