Need advice on train travel between lauterbrunnen and annecy. Trying not to use buses.

Heidi, train travel from Lauterbrunnen to Annecy is a bit more complicated. The trip takes about 6hrs with 3-5 train changes depending on the run. Routing generally goes from Lauterbrunnen/Bern/Geneva/Aix-Les-Bains/Annecy. You will need to take the train around Lake Geneva to get to Geneva. It takes awhile. If you have a bit more time, you might take the Golden Pass scenic train from Interlaken Ost to Montreux and then another train to Geneva to pick up the routing described previously. There is also bus service from the Geneva airport to Annecy.
