My wife and I will be visiting Switzerland in July. We have already purchased point to point tickets as it was much less expensive than rail passes. My question is this, are there discount cards that you know of available, outside of rail passes, that offer discounts for boats (Lake Lucerne), museums, gondolas (Murren), busses etc? Thanks in advance...

I was in Switzerland for three weeks this summer and, outside of rail passes that combine modes of travel, there aren't many discounts available. Make sure to find out all of your costs for transport ahead of time - Switzerland is crazy expensive. That said, certain mountain areas will have combined tickets for gondolas that can be used for single or multi-day travel on that system. Zermatt has a system like that as do the areas around Verbier and the 4 Valleys. Don't know about Murren.
