Hello
I am considering doing the Switzerland Glacier Express in 2 days. What would be your suggestion as to where to stop and stay. Leaving from Zermatt. West to East.

I'd take the trip to Chur in on day, and then the trip to St. Moritz the following day.

Yes, you'll stop in Distentis for about a 30 minute crew change, then on to Chur. After being in Chur for about 10 or 15 minutes, the train backtracks a few miles and heads up the valley toward Filisur. Chur is a logical stopover. A very historic town and the capital of Graubünden.
