1 day dedicated hiking day reco in Jungfrau area

I will be doing the following usual suspect hikes in first 3 days with wife and kids.
1. Mannkichen-Klein Scheidegg
2. Blumental Panorama trail or North Face Trail
3. Hikes at the top of Schilthorn
4. Hikes at the top of Jungfraujoch

I have decided to skip Bern and add an extra day at Jungfrau with permission from my wife to go on a crazy ass hiking day on my own while wife and kids relax in the pool and take lake + castle tour.

So, hit me up with the your favorite 1 day hiking extravaganza in the area. I will have the Swiss travel pass. So, all ears for an itinerary that intelligently combines chairlifts with hikes to give the best bang for the buck

The Grindelwald First - Faulhorn - Schynige Platte hike is a classic. You take a gondola up to First, hike up to Faulhorn, then walk down to Schynige Platte for the mountain railway down.
Not sure about Pass coverage.
Hiking alone, be safe and stick to popular trails (my suggestion is popular).

If you’re staying in murren and you’re an experienced hiker in good shape you could hike from murren to the top of the Schilthorn and either hike back down or take the cable car.

I did this with my wife and we were the only crazy people going up and we saw only a few people coming down.

The route through schiltalp is more difficult than going up through allmendhubel and schilthornhutte however it’s quieter and stunningly beautiful.

Mind the weather and check cable car times. Also you can check conditions on the trails. There (still) may be snow which if you didn’t have micro spikes or crampons may be too risky.

Also the hike to oberhornsee looks like a beauty.

Did I mention to check the weather?

Have fun.
