Are you wanting a hotel in Zürich city centre, or actually at Zürich airport?

There is one (and only one) hotel actually at the airport, with a walkway connection to the terminal, the "Radisson Blu".
Website here: https://www.radissonhotels.com/en-us/hotels/radisson-zurich-airport
An upmarket airport hotel, sterile sleeping factory. Nothing to do nearby.
There are other hotels that advertise as "airport hotels", they all require a shuttle buy to reach them.

However, unless your flight is early morning, a good suggestion is to stay in Luzern. A much nicer place, with many hotels i the old town within walking distance to the station. From Luzern trains run to Zürich airport every 30 minutes, and it only takes 70 minutes.

We arrived in Zurich by train the day before our flight home from Zurich airport. We stayed at Leoneck Swiss Hotel. It was about a 10 minute walk from the train station to the hotel (although partly uphill.) There are also several buses from the station that go past the hotel. In the morning we picked up a bus to the airport right across the street from the hotel that took about 20 minutes.

We arrived late morning and had time to walk back down past the train station to the old town. We wandered around for a few hours and had lunch. The hotel has a restaurant and we chose to eat dinner there rather than go out again.

The staff was very helpful giving us directions to the airport and helping us buy the bus tickets.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu, as well. We flew in/out of Zurich a couple of years ago when we went to Italy. Arrived in Zurich and took the train to/from Milan. Our return flight was in the morning, so to avoid any last-minute panic or stress, we stayed at the Radisson Blu the night before mainly for convenience. It's a very nice, upscale hotel. As mentioned there really isn't anything around (a pricey hotel restaurant and some shops/convenience stores in the walkway). For dinner, we had to take a short train ride to the Zurich HB Main Station and there were plenty of options there. In the morning, it was a short walk (indoors) and we were at our gate within minutes.

In July you will want A.C.! You will want to steer clear of hotels that have none, like Hotel Bristol. We were very uncomfortable in this hotel in May in 2018.

We stayed at the Hotel Alexander several years ago. We had a room overlooking the street and the noise never stopped all night. The location was good, the service was good, it had air conditioning. However, if I can't sleep in a hotel, then it is not for me. I won't go there again.
