Hi all! Looking for dinner reservations in Interlaken - I definitely want to experience the Switz cuisine and their traditional foods, but also looking for something that has a nice atmosphere for a date night. Thank you!!

You will have a much better experience if you go to Grindelwald, Wengen or Murren. Interlacken is a transit hub, not in the mts.
Swiss cuisine??? Lots of cheese!

I generally agree with Suki, and my first thought when I saw the title of this question I thought of the McDonalds.
But to try answer your date night question - sorry I haven't eaten in Interlaken for at least 10 years so no current info. Would one of the few old hotels on hotel row have the sort of thing you want? You might have a high grade tourist meal, probably in the same room with international tour bus tourists (since the tour buses can't get up the mountains) with white table cloths (and corresponding prices) but no view to speak of.

The Grand Hotel Giessbach might be a fun option. You could take the ferry (about an hour) to the ferry stop right below the hotel. Then take the funicular up to the hotel. Otherwise it’s about 20 minutes by taxi.
