We don’t see much discussion on St Moritz or Pontresina. Need suggestions for Hotels, Restaurants & sightseeing, we also plan to visit Soglio & into Italy for the Northern part of Lake Como & will return to St Moritz to take the Glacier Express train to Zermatt. We are early planning for June of 2025.

We stayed in smaller Samedan before taking the Bernina train into Italy. But if we return, I have identified Chesa Mulin in Pontresina as the place I would like to stay. I have read good reports on this one.

We had a wonderful experience in Pontresina staying at La Collina with our friends.We splurged for dinner one night at Grand Hotel Knonenhof, great food and experience!
We had been told by friends not to stay in St-Moritz and we were so glad we listened to them. Pontresina is charming!

St. Moritz, Pontresina and Samedan are all within ten minutes of each other. We spread the Bernina Express journey over two days, instead of all in one, and had a really enjoyable one-night stay at Hotel Donatz in Samedan. It's a boutique sized hotel, 25 rooms, beautiful pine decor, with a very nice wine bar, and each stay comes with a complimentary pass to the Samedan Mineral Spa. That evening we took a bus to the funicular, rode up to Muottas Muragl, and had a wonderful dinner at the Romantik Hotel Mouttas Muragl.
