Hotels in Griendelwald

We are staying in Griendelwald in May and we are trying to pick between two hotels. Would love other opinions on the two hotels. One is Sunstar and the other one is Hotel Central Wolter! Thanks!

If you're having trouble finding information, note that it's spelled Grindelwald, with only one "e."

In May we stayed at Hotel Spinne and it was a fine hotel with a good restaurant and breakfast (typical Swiss with cheese, yogurt, scrambled eggs, juices, coffee, tea, fruit). We booked a room with an Eiger view and were not disappointed. Every day we were greeted by excellent views of the Eiger and surrounding valley. The hotel was near the lifts to First and Pflingsteg and 10 minutes from the train station. There is a lot of construction going on in May, but it's not too much of a problem. Note that May and June many hotels and restaurants are closed or limited, and this goes also for some of the lifts and gondolas, so check ahead of time.

I stayed at the Sunstar hotel and loved it. We were on a timeshare exchange. Our room was a hotel type room which faced the town not the mountain. We had the option of paying for half board so we did. We had a lovely breakfast buffet every morning. I would request a mountain view. I thought the hotel was great and the service was very good also. The location was very good also. We bought a swiss pass that included many trains and a discount on the high mountain lifts. I would stay there again.
