My family just returned from our European vacation. While in Luzern we stayed at the Hotel Waldstatterof. I just wanted to let others know how disappointing it was. It is expensive and not worth it. It is on a very busy street next to the huge train station so the windows could not be left open at night. And it was hot when we were there so it was extremely uncomfortable. They gave us a couple little fans, but it made for long nights. The rooms were not kept clean and if we needed a clean towel or more soap, they would not automatically offer it, we had to ask(and for the money, this place should have done it without asking).
On the positive side, the young staff at the desk and dining area were friendly. And there is an elevator.
