We recently stayed at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen for 4 nights. We absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful and had great suggestions for our daily itineraries. The breakfasts were delicious, as well as the dinners. We ate there 3 of the 4 nights. It's a beautiful setting and our view was magnificent. There was a free coffee machine, loaner umbrellas and hiking poles. These were just added touches which made us feel welcome. We also loved the town of Wengen. It seemed just the right size - not too big and not too small. There were enough souvenir shops to get what you wanted but didn't feel over touristy.

Our stay there was also terrific! Daniel and his staff went out of their way to ensure that everything was memorable. One night, he hosted a complimentary wine and cheese reception during which he enlightened his guests about the history of the area. Thoroughly enjoyable!
