This hotel is in Rick's book, but I would not stay here again. The street noise from the all night bar and club activity (and there are many of them in this neighborhood) kept us awake and left the surrounding area full of hungover zombies and piles of litter in the morning.
The hotel itself does have clean, small, efficient rooms. The air conditioning was a life saver in the heat wave. The hotel does give a discount for booking directly with the hotel via their website.
If you do choose to stay here, insist on a room as far away from the street noise as you can get and bring ear plugs.
