Any recommendations on a place to stay 1 night on our grand finale of Switzerland. Close to airport. Is it best to stay at airport and bus into town for late afternoon walk dinner etc or to stay in town and a 8am bus to the airport. Will arrive Geneva around noon

There are trains between Geneva Cornavin station (main station in the city center) and the airport and it takes only a matter of minutes. There is a train every 10 minutes in the morning and it takes 7 minutes to the airport. So you can probably get to the airport faster from the center of Geneva than from an airport hotel, either walking or using their shuttle service.

Sam is totally correct, but, the Nash Airport Hotels (there are 3 of them) and the Ibis
Geneva Airport hotel are walking distance to the airport, assuming your luggage is
manageable (they also have a shuttle).

Marriott by the airport. Free shuttle to the airport. Beautiful hotel. Right on the tram line for easy access to Old Town and a view of the Lake. Discounts can apply like AAA etc. just book through the hotel site.
