Eating in Murren

Switzerland has no lack of fine gastronomy. It’s one of the wealthiest countries in the world so I don’t understand your comment about forgetting you’re in Switzerland just because you had fine food.

I also had a great meal there.

We ate there in July during out RS Switzerland tour, great meal. I loved Switzerland and would like to go back and spend a week in Murren with no itinerary!

We recently ate ate the Bellevue in Mürren and really enjoyed it. Yes everything is expensive there but it’s a wonderful place to visit and eat.

When you can look at mountains that seem so close you could touch them ... even a sandwich from the Co-op is great. (And undoubtedly cheaper than the other places mentioned.)

I've had many sandwiches from the Coop. It's one way to manage the cost of food in Switzerland. And, you're right. The atmosphere makes everything taste good.
