We will have about four days in Gothenburg area (picking up Volvo) and would like to spend that time in western Sweden—dream to see “crane dance” migration. Any advice on birding in this area and other ideas for enjoying rural western Sweden in mid April. Would also like to drive to Denmark—to experience the Oresund bridge. Thank you.

I haven’t been to the Gothenburg (Göteborg) area, but here is a link to the local ornithological society. The page indicates that they hold open houses on Mondays at 18:30 and also has a contact email. Perhaps you can email them for advice.
