Can anyone report on using Uber to get from the airport to downtown Stockholm recently? Or for that matter, how about using Uber to get around Stockholm generally? We have one member of our party whose walking commitments must be limited.

Where in central Stockholm? In general I'd suggest that you start with either the train or coach to central Stockholm. Saves you a bit of money. And if you take the train, time as well.
It would be helpful if you could specify what "limited walking commitments" means, but there is also a great network of commuter trains, metro, trams, buses and ferries that take you all over the city.
