Transfer from Arlanda airport to catch train to Oslo

Hello, I have a trip to Sweden & Norway in the late summer
I will be arriving at the Arlanda airport from the US at 8am on a Thursday.

Is that is enough time to make it through immigration and to the Stockholm Central station to catch the 10:51am train to Oslo?

I will not be checking any bags.
Thanks for your help!

Assuming the flight lands on time that sounds like plenty of time.

Thank you so much! From your experience how much time should I expect it to take from landing to arrival at Stockholm Central?

Would I have time to grab a bite to eat a the station?

Maybe an hour or so. But it very much depends on immigration and I have no experience with the other passports-queue. There is a bistro on the train, but there is also a large Coop downstairs in the central station with plenty of premade salads and sandwiches for train passengers.

Have you bought the train ticket yet? If not you should buy a train ticket from Arlanda and not from Stockholm.

We have already bought tickets, though we did buy refundable in case our plane is delayed. I did not see a direct train from Arlanda to Oslo. Maybe I am missing something. Is there substantial benefit to buy the ticket from Arlanda vs. Stockholm? I appreciate your insights.

There are no direct trains from Arlanda to Oslo, you need to change at Stockholm C. But, buying Arlanda-Oslo as a single ticket has the advantage that your connection in Stockholm will be protected. Should there be problems with train/bus from Arlanda to Stockholm (unlikely but not impossible), you will be rebooked for free if it's on a single ticket.
