Hi I'm on www.sj.se website trying to buy train tickets from Stockholm to Copenhagen, Almost all the trains say preliminary & I cant buy any daytime trains for our date of travel 7/29/24. There are currently only 2 options available that date & they are late night trains with changes, Does anyone know what preliminary might mean regarding all the trains on that date & other dates in that time frame? I can't seem to find any info on what that means or when tickets might be available for sale. None of them say sold out, a few say canceled but most say preliminary. When I click on the time I want that says preliminary nothing happens. Any ideas or suggestions?
I would suggest you do what the website suggests: Check back later. This is almost two months away. No need to worry to much about it now.
If you click on preliminary you should see an explanation.
It means that the departures are not for sale yet, just wait a bit and try again later. Due to track maintenance there is a bit more planning needed for those depatures, and they will not be for sale until all the planning is done. So just relax and come back in a week or so. Unless you want to take the overnight train (which is not a bad option, I've used it myself several times).
