I will be purchasing a train ticket from Stockholm to Copenhagen for mid June when they come available. I've never taken that trip and wondered what the scenery will be like. Is there a side of the train (going south) that would provide better views of the countryside?

The scenery will be forests, fields, lakes, more forests, houses, small towns, a few rivers and even more forests. In my opinion. one side is not better than the other.

I tend to base that kind of decision on where the sun will be. Stockholm to Copenhagen is pretty much due south (with a bit west), so generally speaking in June, the sun will be beating down through the window and in your eyes on the left (east) side in the morning, and on the right (west) side in the afternoon, so I would book my seat the opposite of that.
