Train from Copenhagen to Malmo with luggage?

Hello, based on a suggestion from a poster on another question where I asked about rental cars, I am considering taking the train to Malmo after spending 3 days in Copenhagen, then renting a car there for the remainder of our trip in Sweden. I know there is a convenient train to take to Malmo, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether rolling suitcases are allowed on the trains? Worried they might just be commuter trains??

Any information would be great, and any tips on how to access the trains if suitcases are allowed would be very much appreciated!

Thank you!

No type of suitcase is "allowed" or "not allowed", because there is no one to check, trains do not have "check-in". You can bring as much (or as little) as you like, but you are totally responsible for getting your luggage from the street, through the station onto the train and stowing it.

Yes it is a commuter train, it runs every 20 minutes and the trip only takes 39 minutes. But that makes no difference to the luggage rules, because there aren't any luggage rules.

As already stated there are no luggage rules. The trains stop by Copenhagen Airport, so you probably won’t be the only ones carrying large suitcases.
