Time allowance between flights

I will be flying from Geneva to Arlanda on SAS and need to catch a Norwegian flight to New York. The flight I want to take from Geneva lands at 3:20pm and the Norwegian flight leaves at 5:55pm. Does anyone know if this is an adequate amount of time?

No, no one does. Is it one ticket or two? Checked luggage or carry-on? Obviously, it depends on the arrival from Geneva being on time. Then you are going to have to clear exit immigration and security. If everything clicks you probably are OK. I personally would like a wider window.

I won't generally go for a connection that short. I know you have 2.5 hours but short delays wreck travel plans pretty quickly. Are you on two separate tickets?

I'll often do a layover of between 3 and 4 hours but I am pretty conservative on those things - I'd rather sit around an airport than go running around trying to catch/miss a flight.

I do see that EasyJet flies the same route nonstop and that flight arrives 30 minutes earlier.

I have not flown into that airport - maybe someone else can weigh in with their transfer experience there.

Arlanda is a nice, small international airport. Assuming your flight arrives relatively on time, you should have more than enough time, in fact bring some entertainment. That being said, I have not changed flights at this airport, just ended and begun there. However, from my experience, this is an uncrowded, small airport. As I recall immigration had a small line.
