Taking luggage on the T-bana(metro)

We'll be arriving at the Central Train Station from Arlanda Airport via the Arlanda Express. Has anyone taken their luggage through the T-bana? We only carry one backpack and a medium size suitcase with wheels per person.

It's no different from taking luggage on any other subway/metro/underground. Meaning, at peak times with everyone crushed against each other, it's difficult, and at other times it's not a problem. Also meaning you have to be prepared to schlep luggage up and down stairs, and not count on escalators or elevators. You also have to be prepared to lift luggage over turnstiles. As long as you are fine with these things, no problem. If you aren't, take a taxi from the station to your hotel.

Living in New York and being "thrifty," I often take the subway to the train or airport. But sometimes, I just don't feel like the hassle, and take a cab. This is more common when I arrive jetlagged in a place I don't know (in New York, I know exactly where to go for the shortest routes, least congested sets of stairs, etc.).
