This might sound ignorant but I'm getting conflicting information trying to convert US dollars to Swedish krona. Booking a tour of the Royal Palace etc. in Stockholm tells me it's 420,000 kr. Can anyone give me a definitive answer to covert this to US dollars?
A rough estimate is 10 kr = €1.
$1 is worth approximately 10 Swedish Kronor.
One thing that might be confusing … In Sweden a comma is used where we in the U.S. have the decimal point.

Yes, the comma is opposite, so is a period. You will see a period where we would put a comma. Normally, their numbers resemble ours except for reversed periods and commas (1's might be confused for 7's because they have a bigger banner, on top, than we normally use).
